August 2011 Challenges Revealed!

Susan here with a reveal of August’s challenges! (*further down you’ll see a special scrapper that submitted her work and won a special surprise!)

We want to see everyone participate in the challenges, and we will be featuring YOUR layouts! When you submit your photos of your monthly challenge layouts or projects, we will put them on the Scrapping Frenzy Facebook page, and at the end of the month, the design team will pick a favorite to feature here on the blog! We want to offer as many opportunities as we can for you to play along, so each month, we’ll have three different challenges in which you can participate. Feel free to tackle one, two, or all three in a single project or layout!

So, what are you going to be challenged with this month?

Well, it’s back to school time, and football season is gearing up, too! Your first challenge is to do a project or layout about back to school (or school photos!), football, or include the color YELLOW somewhere.
Your second challenge opportunity is to incorporate stitching somehow. It can be a hand sewn detail or a quick line with a machine. Just feature a bit of stitching and you’re in the running for the challenge again!
The third way you can enter is with one of my favorites. The monthly sketch! Use the sketch to inspire your creativity. Feel free to turn the sketch on it’s side, or even turn it upside down! Make the sketch your own!

Email your pictures of your layouts or projects to *susan dot fairchild at gmail dot com* along with your name and we’ll get it posted to the Facebook page and into the running for the blog feature!
