Hello Everyone,
I have made several cards this week to share with you! I hope you enjoy them!
All 5 of these cards were made using 2 sheets of Pink Paislee and a few embellishments from the same line.
Here is the first one, “Happy”
I started with yellow cardstock, added a mat of craft paper. Attached the flower flags. Ran bakers twine from each corner of my flags to the top of my mat and then added a border to the top and bottom. I topped each corner with stickles, added my thickers letters and you have a “Happy Birthday” card.
Card 2 is “I Love You”
I love this card! It looks so vintage to me and girly! I started with a piece of craft paper for my card. I used the sheet, Sweetest Day by Pink Paislee, cut it in 3 sections. I say 3 because the flowers that cross the bottom can by separated into 2 sections. I cut a mat from the top section of the sheet. I fussy cut the flowers, and misted them with glimmer mist and smooch spray. I attached them in layers added some bling, a bow and my sentiment.
Card 3 is “Happy Birthday”
This card was made using the 2 section from the sheet Sweetest Day. Again I fussy cut the flowers and misted and sprayed them. I added a bracket (it is on the same sheet as the flower flags) outlined it in a pale yellow zig pen, and stamped my sentiment and added a few bees! You have a beautiful birthday card for a relative or friend.
Card 4 is “Best Friends”
I wanted to make a card using the round embellishment you see on this card. (it is also on the sticker sheet with the flags, borders, and brackets) Since it was round, I thought it would be cool to make a round card. I used a bowl and traced my outline. I cut it out and added my different strips. Each one is cut from a sheet of the Pink Paislee line and the brown strip with the pink flowers is from the sticker sheet. I added my round embellishment, and used some yellow stickles to bring out the flourishes and the center of the flower. I used a pair of decorative scissors and trimmed the outside edge of my card to follow the border of my embellishment. I stamped my sentiment and added a bow. I think it turned out great!
Card 5 is “Dream, Wish, Believe”
Another girly card that is perfect for a wedding! My Friend Jenny has already laid claim to it for just that purpose! LOL! The mat is cut from the Sweetest Day sheet by Pink Paislee. (the top section of the flowers from card 2 and 3) I stamped the perfume bottle and added some color using a green colored pencil. The label was next. It says Love Potion, and is a sticker from the embellishment sticker sheet. It started out as a ticket and I cut it down to make it into my label. I added a piece of lace and a line of pearls. I found some fabric flowers in my stash and used some smooch spray to match up my colors. I added my sentiment and a brad to the bottle, and there you have it.
